“And So I Roar”, the second novel by British-Nigerian writer Abi Daré, won the inaugural Climate Fiction Prize. Chair of judges Madeleine Bunting described it as “A book of real energy and passion…a story of how the climate crisis can provoke social crisis where often women and children are the victims… Abi Daré holds faith in the strength of individuals and relationships, and her hopefulness leaves us inspired.”
We welcome Abi for an in-conversation event about her prize-winning story of resilience and hope.
