FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR OWN PIECE OF SCULPTURE
Beautifully textured surfaces, pieces that capture humanity and emotion; vibrant colours, nature in all its forms and also, abstract pieces; both monumental and more reflective. Different pieces will speak to different people – if you find yours, most works are available for purchase.
There’s even the chance to win one of the sculptures, by member Gina Baum; which you’ll be able to view at Miserden. To enter, all you have to do is post an image featuring any sculpture within this year’s show to your facebook or Instagram, with hashtag #CSAWIN2025 and tagging the association. T’s and c’s apply, see website.
NEW FOR 2025: FEATURING GUEST SCULPTOR - IAN GILL
The Cotswold Sculptors are delighted to welcome special guest sculptor, Ian Gill, to exhibit alongside members. Several pieces will be shown, including ‘Helix’, a more abstract piece which brings to mind seedlike structures and the movement of the summer breeze.
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS
A visit to Miserden is always a treat. The timeless walled gardens expertly planted with roses, clematis and herbaceous plants overlook a deer park and the rolling Cotswold hills of the Golden Valley beyond. Don’t miss unique features such 17th-C Lutyen yew walk and quaint grass steps; or the ‘secret’ walled garden; a lovely quiet space in which to sit and reflect.
Enjoy coffee and cake from the “Little Ginger” coffee stand, whilst strolling within the magnificent colours of the mixed borders. See https://www.miserden.org for special offers and tours.
THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE WORK: SHARING A PASSION FOR SCULPTURE
Cotswold Sculptors Association is an inclusive, non-profit organisation run by its artist-members to promote the making and appreciation of sculpture in its many forms. We support each other in our artistic practice, by creating connections, sharing inspiration and opportunities to show our work with the world.
Most days, you’ll find at least one of the artists from the Cotswold Sculptors on hand in the garden, to answer your questions about the exhibition generally but also, to chat about their own work, if you’d like to.
DEMONSTRATIONS AT MISERDEN
On the 14th June, visitors can chat with a number of sculptors as they demonstrate their materials and how they bring to life the ideas behind their work. No additional charge.
SPECIAL MEET THE ARTIST DAY
On the 20th July, hear a number of sculptors talk about their processes and inspiration for their piece in the show. No additional charge.
