NO NEED TO BOOK, WE'RE A DROP-IN GROUP

FunkyMunky Music is a lively, lots-of-fun music, movement and song session, for all toddlers and pre-school children (from 9months)… we dance, wriggle, jump, twirl and wobble to all sorts of songs, new and old. Incorporating rhythm, movement and the use of props, children are encouraged in their personal, social and emotional development.

Our imaginations run wild as we fly like butterflies, dance like scarecrows, jump around like bunnies, stomp like dinosaurs, run around like spiders, row with all sorts of different animals like mice, lions, and crocodiles, ride along in busses, pop popcorn on our parachute, pop bubbles, dance along with rhythm sticks, and so much more!

Use of props such as finger puppets, rhythm sticks, bunny ears, play parachute and bubbles increases the fun and encourages participation. All sorts of different kinds of dancing serve to develop both fine and gross motor skills and encourage children to link movement with sound and words, all of which underpin literacy. They’ll learn simple co-ordination of their bodies, speak and memorise rhyme and keep in rhythm to a steady beat while having lots of fun!

FRIDAYS - Stroud Cricket Club, off the Ebley by-pass

• Doors open at 10am, music's 10:30 - 11:30
• Please bring snacks and drinks for your little ones
• Hot drinks and cakes/pastries available (us grown-ups need a treat too!)
• Cash or card on arrival
• £7 (1 child) £3.50 (siblings 1yo+)
• Same sibling discount rate for childminders / nannies
• When it's warm and dry, we run outside at the Stroud Cricket Club, Egypt Mill and Stonehouse Court Hotel (bring picnic blackets/camping chairs)
