Heritage Open Day at The Hill
Next dates
On Saturday, 13th September from 10 am – 4 pm, The Hill in Stroud is opening its doors to the public as part of ‘Heritage Open Days’, a national festival of events. Heritage Open Days celebrate history and culture across England and give people a chance to see hidden places they may have overlooked.
This is a rare opportunity to explore the historic grounds and unique venue space that dates back to 1634. Today, the building is owned by the Stroud Masons and is open to the public for private event hire, including weddings, parties, christenings, and corporate events.
During the open day, you will have the chance to find out more about its history and visit the Masonic Temple, which is not usually open to the public. Inside, you’ll be enchanted by the high ceilings, masonry regalia, and other must-see artefacts.
Berry Blue, The Hill’s award-winning in-house catering and event partner, will also be attending to show you how The Hill can be a fantastic venue for many events.
No need to book for the open day, it’s free to enter and is sure to be a great day out for couples and families.
