Cotswold Book Room has been an independent, family-run business in Wotton-under-Edge for more than 70 years. In early 2020 we were fortunate enough to be able to take on this beautiful shop. The shop is now run by us, Gideon and Cathy York, with help from a small team of booksellers. 

We love books and the joy they can bring to people. We’re always happy to talk books and help you find your next read, or choose a really lovely book for a gift.

Give the gift of books, and let us help you with the selection. Whether it's a treat for yourself or a present for someone special, we offer an individual service in order to help find the very best reading out there.  Choose from our 3, 6 or 12-month packages. All are available for collection from the shop or postage within the UK. The books will arrive at the end of each month, carefully chosen and wrapped for each reader.
