We're opening up our site for a day of activities, food and music - please come and join us! 

Date: 18th May 2025
Time: 11am - 3pm
Location: Common Soil Community Farm 

There's no charge to attend the event and there will be activities for all ages.

Programme:
11.30am - Farm tour with one of our growers.
12pm - Pick and mix herbal tea workshop (£5) - create your own herbal tea with the guidance of our grower and herbalist-in-training and take it away with you.
1pm - Maypole dances with music - you can take part or just watch.
2pm - Natural first aid workshop (£5) - a local naturopath and nutritionist will cover how to use some of nature's gifts to support your health, such as making a poultice or balm.

There will be native rescued owls to meet from Wrens Birds of Prey, similar to the wild owls that visit our site when they choose, but they'll hang around for longer!
We'll host a treasure hunt for children and they can help to populate our wormery.

At lunchtime there will be wood-fired pizzas and Common Soil salad available for donation.

Tea and cake will be served all day.

Dogs on leads are allowed.
