King Arthur and the Holy Fail

Next dates

  1. Thursday, 27 August 2026

Three Inch Fools present an epic tale of Arthurian adventure and medieval mayhem.

Date: August 27th 2026
Time: 5.30pm Start
Location: Paisnwick Rococo Gardens, Painswick

In a land of daring quests, dashing knights, and endless jousting, there lived a would-be hero – waiting in the wings – who went by the name of Arthur. But when Camelot is rocked to its core by a tragic – and frankly improbable – incident involving a large table of an undisclosed shape, Arthur is thrust into the quest of a lifetime.
Will he bravely battle through blistering cold and scorching fire to save his beloved realm, or will he crumble as fate refuses to cooperate? Destiny awaits, chivalry calls, and the quest to end all quests begins.

Saddle up – things are about to get legendary.

About The Three Inch Fools
The Three Inch Fools create bold, music-filled theatre in the great outdoors. Touring with instruments, props and costumes, we bring fast-paced, inventive storytelling to some of the UK’s most spectacular historic and natural landmarks – come rain or shine!

To enhance your experience, you can pre-order a cheese and charcuterie box. This delectable box features an assortment of local cheeses, meats, artisan bread, Rococo Garden chutney crafted from homegrown ingredients and salad leaves/olives – all without any plastic. Simply add your order at checkout.

You’re welcome to arrive and get comfortable up to 45 minutes prior to the start of the performance.

This is an outdoor performance:

  • You’re welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy – including your favourite tipple!
  • We are looking forward to a warm summer evening, but bringing blankets for extra warmth might be a good idea! In case of extreme weather, the performance will be moved indoors to St. Mary’s Church in Painswick.
