Summer SEND Celebration 2026 – Gloucestershire's Biggest FREE Inclusive Family Fun Day!

Get ready for an unforgettable day of adventure, laughter and community at the Summer SEND Celebration 2026! Taking place on Thursday 20th August at The Recreation Ground, Dursley, Gloucestershire, this free event has been created especially for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their families.

Hosted by the Parent and Carer Alliance CIC as part of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme, the celebration brings together exciting activities, entertainment, local organisations and support services in one welcoming, inclusive space.

There's something for everyone to enjoy, including:

🚒 Meet the Emergency Services, including Police vehicles, Police Dogs and Fire Engines
🐕 Watch demonstrations and meet the incredible Police Dogs
🏉 Take part in rugby sessions with Gloucester Rugby
🏏 Try disability cricket with Gloucestershire Disability Cricket
⚽ Roll, bounce and laugh in our Zorbing arena
🏀 Test your skills in the Basketball Challenge
🧗 Conquer our impressive four-sided climbing wall
🕳️ Explore an exciting interactive caving experience
🎡 Enjoy the teacup rides
🎨 Have your face painted with colourful designs
🏃 Get active with Move More
🎪 Learn circus skills and create giant bubbles with World Jungle
🧱 Build, create and play with LEGO® free-build and activity kits
💧 Relax and explore our sensory spaces and water play
🛍️ Browse an artisan marketplace featuring over 20 fantastic local businesses, charities and service providers
