You can access the Gloucester Sharpness canal path from Slimbridge & head either towards Frampton or Sharpness. The towpath is pushchair friendly. 

There is a free car park in Slimbridge, which is on the opposite side of the road to the Tudor Arms, before you drive over the canal bridge. 

The Black shed cafe is family friendly for refreshments before or after your walk & situated next to the bridge, so if you are lucky with timings, your toddler can be entertained watching the bridge move to allow boats to come through!
